For my birthday my husband took me to a small town called Mazomanie Wisconsin, I call the town Mazo  just to keep it easy!   We stayed two nights at a historical B&B called “The Walking Iron Bed & Breakfast” owned by David and Karisa Friske. The B & B got its name from and Indian chief whose name, when translated, means “Iron that Walks” I highly recommend you check it out if you’re in the area!  A personal thanks to David and Karisa Friske for your hospitality and love of history!

If you have been following my posts you know that I’m a Network Marketer, Internet Marketer and an affiliate marketer, but more important than that my true passion is to support local communities, to eat local and be healthy! Mazomanie was put on the map when TV”s “Food Network” and “Midwest Living Magazine” featured “The Old Feed Mill” owned by Dan & Nancy Viste. “The Food Network” called it “The Best of Country Cuisine.” The Viste’s also own “Whistle Stop Cafe” and “Halle’s Vintage Shoppe.”

Saturday we visited Mazomanie’s farmers market and  bought a 2 lb bag of “Lonesome Stone Pancake Mix” which is on the breakfast menu at the “Whistle Stop Cafe.” When we got home Sunday afternoon I was already thinking about my pancakes that I wanted to make Monday morning. Raising seven kids back in the day I came up with away to make pancakes really fast and easy! I want to share with you in this video how I kept it healthy and quick!
