How Meditation Will, “Dethrone Your Hobgoblins And Kick Them Back To Hell!”

This morning I had a revelation which caused a shift in my thinking. I truly believe, “IF we focus on staying in spirit that which is Not spirit will rise to the surface and be revealed.”
I normally spend quite time in the morning in prayer and meditation. I heard myself for the first time say in prayer, “Lord I can only trust you the only way that I know how”, at that moment the shift came! Friends, I’ve prayed this prayer for years thinking I’m in spirit but the reality is, I was praying from Lack!
This blessed revelation hit me so hard that the back of my throat hurt as the tears instantly came. The list of words and fragmented sentences came to my mind as I remained open to instruction.
- I can only…Lack
- If I can…Lack
- I will try…Lack
- Maybe…Lack
- That would be great, IF…Lack
- I want to, but…Lack
- You made me this, way… Lack
- I can’t be something that I’m, not…LACK
- It was handed down to, me…Lack
- You know my problems…LACK
I GET IT!
I shouted to the walls and the dog!
The shift came and changed my life from that point on, forever! My prayers NOW sound like this, “Lord, you are NOW actively sending me that which I desire (I name what it is). You are aligning me… I am NOW aligned with you. I live in Your reality thus I attract all the goodness, power, wisdom, energy, peace and glory into my day and life!
AMEN!
How can we expect God to answers our prayers when we pray from a self-defeated mindset? It sounds really good and pious, bla, bla, bla! The reality is, lack is very distasteful and unpleasing to God.
Once again unwanted culture has left my life for good!

It’s all about creating true alignment with the gifts that God has for us. Either we can acknowledge that they are there waiting for us and gratefully accept them, or come from a place of scarcity, where we are asking to be graced with God’s gifts.

Debby! This is so profound. My paster actually did a sermon on this once about talking to God as though you are already defeated. Prayer and meditation are key in life and so important as a regular part of our day.
