The Spirit Of Truth, I See Clearly…
By debbybeachy on Oct 5, 2009 in Spirituality

It’s been awhile since I posted anything to my blog. Sometimes, you need to take a step back and give yourself a chance to grow. Lately I’ve been looking at my past and questioning some of my Christian beliefs. Let me make myself clear, I’m not questioning my faith in the person of Jesus and his saving grace but, the controlling spirit and influence in which I grew up under.
I pray, open my eyes to see the truth,
that I no longer am bound from the past,
that my spirit can see clearly!
I just recently read (I can’t remember where) the difference between lack and abundance. The faith doctrine I was taught, did it breath into my spirit lack or abundance? This very thought has put me in a meditative process. I was fearful if, I didn’t have faith to move mountains, I would be cast out; away from my friends, my church and God, completely lost. These emotions stems from lack NOT abundance!
Tare down the wall of deceit, false controlling teaching. Bring
unto me the strength of the universe in which you created.
I went to dictionary.com to get the definition and compared these two words, read what I’ve found.
Lack: The word lack is active therefore it’s a verb.
1. To be without or deficient in
2. To lack ability
3. To lack the necessities, to fall short
4. To be absent
Abundance: The work abundance is a noun.
1. Extremely plentiful
2. Overflowing fullness
3. Wealth
4. Abundance of the heart
Luke 17:21 “The kingdom of God is within me”
Psalm 18: 19 “He brought me out into a
spacious place; he rescued me because
he delighted in me.”
Well dear blog readers, what can I say? Sometimes you have to laugh to keep from crying. As I continue to peal back the layers of lack, abundance is taking its place!!! I’ve started over, taking back my life; the life that God created me to live, abundance! Do I feel ashamed to share this with you? No, we’ve all been there in one way or another, haven’t we?
How can we be authentic, true to yourselves and others when we’ve not, “deep cleaned” our past? We want to prosper, we want our businesses to flourish, dear friends “deep clean”, take action and watch the manifested abundance come!
From my heart

Thank you for posting this. I’m interested to observe that more and more people are beginning to turn inwards, reevaluating both themselves and the(ir) “spirit”. Just as Jesus and the apostles commanded we do daily
Jesus is described as the Prince of Peace. There are many scriptures describing the Holy Spirit as the spirit of Peace. IMHO, the true Spirit of Jesus is known by a clear, overriding sense of Peace within you. A deep Stillness. An indescribable Calm and utter Contentment, no matter the external circumstances of life. Any other “spirit”, whose fruits are other than Perfect Peace, is not the Holy Spirit… so it must be something else.
Thank you Blissful for a great comment!
